The Armor That Couldn’t Protect Us - An assemblage of slag aluminum and found bits of automobiles, the very vehicles used by the citizens of Paradise to attempt escape from flames of the Came Fire on November 8, 2018. Displayed as found along the streets of Paradise, CA, these melted artifacts are accompanied by bronze castings of tree barks collected from the multitude of standing dead trees as they are felled in Paradise circa 2021.
