Kiss It Goodbye is a dimensional collage of photographs, screenshots from social media, and imagery appropriated from the media during the burning of Paradise, California, in November 2018. During the fire the phone became an important tool for minute to minute updates on what was being lost, and the artist was following along in real time - through these screen shots, and through contact with friends and family on the ground attempting to escape the flames.
